We rescue families with children who are primarily experiencing homelessness for the first time. Our address becomes their home address then we journey with families post-graduation. We are also expanding efforts to prevent homelessness up front.
When a family is experiencing a housing crisis, the right support at the right time can help them avoid entering emergency shelter or experiencing homelessness.
Family Promise of Greater Phoenix provides diversion services for families that are at immediate risk of homelessness and the need to enter shelter. Our team works with each family to understand their circumstances, identify safe and immediate housing alternatives, and connects them with resources that may help to resolve the crisis.
We provide food, private overnight space, and friendly faces. We also offer social services at four Family Day Centers… one of them even uniquely welcomes the family pet!
