Emily Waszolek

Emily Waszolek is the Executive Director of Communications and Federal Programs for the Creighton School District. With 13 years of experience in School Public Relations, Emily has specialized in serving Title I districts, dedicating her career to low-income communities. Professionally, Emily is an active member of the Arizona School Public Relations Association (ASPRA) and has served in a number of leadership positions including President. She was honored as one of the National School Public Relations Association’s “35 under 35” for her leadership and impact in the field. She has also won the Overall Excellence in School Public Relations award three consecutive years.

Emily has a passion for serving underprivileged families and has previously volunteered with Family Promise before becoming a member of the Board of Directors in 2024. Emily is a big believer in the Mission of Family Promise and admires their holistic approach to ending homelessness while also maintaining stability by allowing families to keep their pets through the process.

Emily holds a degree from Arizona State University and enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with family. She and her husband Eric reside in Scottsdale, Arizona, with their three dogs.
