Chosyn, her four siblings and their mom “doubled up” with their aunt when they moved to AZ. No one anticipated the extra tension it would bring. Chosyn’s mom took herself and the kids to Family Promise. Kids made friends, stayed in school, had three full meals a day and were “spoiled” by Family Promise volunteers every night. Their mom worked in healthcare and saved 80% of net earnings. They moved into their own place two months later.

Most of our families arrive after a breakup. Job loss and eviction are also top reasons for becoming homeless. We believe the entire family, especially the kids, deserve safety and stability. We return kids to their childhood filled with smiles, joy, and new discoveries.

Family Promise – Greater Phoenix is a 21-year-old community-based organization focused on family homelessness. We have four sites in three Valley cities…. all filled with homelike comforts and necessities plus social services. Family Promise is an independent affiliate (among 200) of the nation’s leading organization preventing and ending family homelessness.
