Volunteer

Helping Family Promise by giving of your time is a treasured gift. As a volunteer, you have choices depending on your location, skill set, and age. Kids included.

Most volunteers support Family Promise through their faith congregation. They are key to our community-based Emergency Shelter Program and they volunteer right at their congregation! Most help there is needed each evening and overnight. As one volunteer put it, “I love that Family Promise lets me help people even in my sleep!”

You can also volunteer at one of our Family Day Centers. Our south Scottsdale locations offer the most opportunities, though we might be able to connect you with a volunteer opportunity Valley-wide.

Read to Succeed Program

Introducing our Read to Succeed program! We believe that books have the power to unlock endless possibilities for young hearts and minds. At our campuses, we’ve set up on-site libraries bursting with inspiring books to ignite the imaginations of the kids we serve. But that’s not all! We’re thrilled to have amazing volunteer readers who generously give their time to read to our kids or help them advance their reading skills. Together, we’re building a community of passionate readers and fostering a love for learning that will last a lifetime! If you share our passion for empowering the next generation through literacy, we’d love to have your support! Whether it’s lending a helping hand as a volunteer reader or donating books to our libraries, every act of kindness counts.

Call us at (480) 659-5227 to learn more about how you can be a part of our Read to Succeed family! Together, let’s open a world of possibilities through the magic of books.
