Volunteer
Family Promise relies on over 1,000 volunteers each year to provide some of the services necessary to sustain families in crisis. Volunteers have opportunities to provide assistance 365 days a year within the safe environment of their congregation or at our Family Center in Scottsdale.

Volunteers who directly serve our families help us maintain our cost-efficient program expenses through the gift of their time, donations, and talents.
They share healthy meals, compassion, and encouragement. They also plan and manage family recreational activities such as birthday parties and family outings, holiday celebrations and sporting events. They tutor school age children and help adults prepare for employment.

Administrative volunteers assist the staff as well as the Board of Directors on various committees necessary to keep Family Promise functioning. These committees include fundraising, public relations, and community outreach and advocacy.
For more information or to join our efforts to help homeless families in greater Phoenix, please call and talk with Cheryl (Program Coordinator) or Ted (Executive Director) at 480-659-5227.
